HOW RENTING
HARDWARE WORKS

Renting high-performance GPU hardware from Skorppio takes five steps: create a free account, request the hardware specs you need, complete a quick identity verification, receive your deployment-ready system, and return it when your project is complete. Most rentals are configured and shipped as quickly as possible. Skorppio offers Threadripper Pro workstations with up to 4 GPUs, EPYC servers with up to 8 GPUs, and multi-node clusters — all featuring NVIDIA Blackwell Pro GPUs.

Step 1

CREATE AN ACCOUNT

Quick sign-up with your business email. No credit card required to browse pricing and hardware specs. Your account gives you access to real-time availability, instant quotes, and order tracking.

Choose from pre-configured kits or spec your own build. Select your GPU count, memory, storage, and rental duration. Need help? Our team can recommend a configuration based on your workload — whether that's LLM training, VFX rendering, or scientific simulation.

Step 2

Request Your Hardware

Step 3

VERIFY YOUR ACCOUNT

A one-time verification step to protect both parties. Upload a business ID or complete a quick verification flow. Most verifications are approved quickly.

Your hardware arrives configured, tested, and ready to deploy. Systems ship with pre-installed drivers and your requested software environment. Skorppio includes remote support to help with setup and connectivity.

Step 4

Receive Your System

Step 5

Return Your Hardware

When your rental period ends, use the included return shipping materials. Need to extend? Renewals are handled directly from your dashboard. All drives are securely wiped after return per our data security policy.

FAQs

Rental Process

Common questions about renting dedicated GPU hardware from Skorppio.

Q.How long does it take to receive rental hardware?

Standard configurations ship within 48 hours via overnight freight. Custom builds or high-GPU-count systems may require additional lead time depending on availability. Check real-time availability and estimated ship dates when you configure your order.

Q.What comes pre-installed on the system?

Every system ships with the latest NVIDIA drivers, CUDA toolkit, and your choice of Linux distribution or Windows. If you need a specific software stack — PyTorch, Docker, vLLM, or custom environments — request it during configuration and we'll pre-install it before shipping. You also get full root or admin access to install anything yourself.

Q.What happens if hardware fails during my rental?

Skorppio covers hardware failures. If a component fails during your rental period, contact support and we'll ship a replacement system or part. Your rental billing pauses for any downtime caused by hardware issues on our end. No repair costs, no surprise charges.

Q.Is there a minimum rental period?

One week minimum. Monthly terms are available at reduced rates. No long-term contracts required — extend or return based on your project timeline. Renewals are handled directly from your account dashboard.

Q.How does the return process work?

Every rental includes pre-paid return shipping materials. When your rental period ends, pack the system using the included materials and schedule a pickup. All drives are securely wiped after return per our data security policy. Need more time? Extend your rental from your dashboard before the return date.

Q.What identity verification is required?

A one-time identity verification is required before your first rental to protect both parties. Upload a valid government-issued ID and business verification. Most verifications are approved within one business day. Once verified, future rentals skip this step entirely.
