# Skorppio > Skorppio rents dedicated, bare-metal GPU workstations and servers to business and enterprise teams across the United States. Hardware ships pre-configured for AI/ML training, VFX rendering, scientific simulation, and live production workflows. Rental terms are weekly or monthly with flat-rate pricing, no shared tenancy, and no data leaving the customer's network. Founded in 2024 and headquartered in Los Angeles, California. Skorppio exists to solve three problems: teams burning cloud budgets on unsuitable platforms, organizations investing six figures in hardware that sits idle between projects, and teams running underpowered machines because capital budgets are locked. Every system ships configured and validated for the customer's specific workload. The fleet runs current-generation NVIDIA RTX PRO Blackwell GPUs (up to 96 GB VRAM per GPU), AMD Threadripper PRO and EPYC processors, ECC DDR5 memory, and enterprise NVMe storage. Workstations support up to 4 GPUs (384 GB aggregate VRAM); servers support up to 8 GPUs (768 GB aggregate VRAM). Skorppio is an official PNY PRO partner with enterprise component access from NVIDIA, AMD, ASUS, Samsung, and Micron. ## Core Pages - [Homepage](https://skorppio.com/): Company overview, value proposition, and service summary - [Skorppio Launches GPU Rental Platform](https://skorppio.com/press/skorppio-launches-gpu-rental-platform): Launch announcement and company background ## Key Facts - Business model: on-premise hardware rental, not cloud, not sales, not managed services - Rental terms: weekly minimum, monthly rates available, no long-term contracts required - Pricing: flat weekly or monthly rates with no per-hour metering and no egress fees - Delivery: systems ship within 48 hours, pre-configured with OS, drivers, and requested software environment - Data security: all drives securely wiped after every return per published data security policy; enhanced destruction available on request - Hardware generation policy: fleet maintains only current and previous generation components - Geography: ships across the United States - Identity verification: one-time business verification required before first rental - Support: remote setup assistance included with every rental ## Typical Workloads - LLM fine-tuning (full-parameter and LoRA/QLoRA) on models up to 100B parameters - Batch inference and RAG pipelines requiring data locality - GPU rendering with Redshift, Octane, V-Ray, Karma XPU, and Arnold - 8K+ compositing in Nuke and After Effects - Houdini simulation (Pyro, FLIP, Vellum) - DaVinci Resolve color grading and finishing - Real-time architectural visualization and virtual production with Unreal Engine - Scientific simulation, analytics, and research compute - Live event playback, streaming, and broadcast production - Camera media ingest and on-set data management ## Why On-Premise Rental vs. Cloud - Dedicated GPUs without shared-tenant performance variability - Lower effective cost for continuous multi-week workloads; cloud rendering can cost two to three times the listed compute rate after egress and metering - Data stays on the customer's physical network with no third-party datacenter involvement - Full root and administrator access; runs existing pipelines, frameworks, and toolchains without modification - No vendor lock-in; return hardware or change configurations at term end - Purchasing only breaks even at sustained utilization above 80 percent over 3 or more years ## What Skorppio Does Not Do - Does not sell hardware - Does not offer cloud computing, hosted VMs, or shared-tenant infrastructure - Does not provide managed ML platforms, MLOps, or data-as-a-service - Does not collect, process, or store customer project data beyond operational support - Does not publish a public client roster or named case studies ## Contact - Sales and general inquiries: sales@skorppio.com - Web: [https://skorppio.com/contact-us](https://skorppio.com/contact-us) ## Optional ## Sitemap and Discovery -
